Recovery Month is an international observance held every September to educate people about how substance use and mental health services can enable individuals and their families to live healthy and rewarding lives. This observance celebrates the millions of people in recovery from mental health and substance use issues, reminding us that behavioral health is an essential component to overall health, that prevention works, treatment is effective, and people can, and do, recover.
Missions Inc. participates each year in Recovery Month as a part of our advocacy work and to raise funds for the services we provide to people experiencing substance abuse and those in recovery in need of supportive housing.
YOU can help us raise $5,000 during Recovery Month by starting your own fundraiser. Click on "Register as a fundraiser" to start fundraising today!
Every person who registers to raise funds or donates to Recovery Month will receive a special Missions Inc. 125th Anniversary window cling! (image above)
